From Grand Marais, MN:
Drive northeast on Highway 61 through Grand Marais. Turn left onto the Gunflint Trail / Highway 12 (just after passing Subway) and follow it for 26 miles. A mile after passing Bearskin Road, turn right onto Clearwater Road / Highway 66. Follow this dirt road for 4 miles until you reach Clearwater Historic Lodge.
